Mechanism of Action

Works by inhibiting the enzymes COX-1 and COX-2. This blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid into prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation. It also has central nervous system activity and suppresses inflammatory cytokines.
